PANTAI MORIB

Pantai Morib is known as a ‘holiday destination’, because it was one of the very few beach that’s well managed and is located nearby the city. The government had put a lot of effort into the ‘Gold Coast’ management plan to attract more tourisms, which turned out to be really effective. However after a while they have taken it less seriously, which now became a under care and maintenance beach.

In picture 1 and 4, it shows how Pantai Morib looks like from the bird’s eye view, and also the human perspective. The image of the beach and how it’s composed is shown, such as the mangrove area at the very end of the beach, the slope of the sand…etc. In picture 2 and 3 it shows the two defences used, which is the concrete revetment and the sea wall, both of them is used in different area for different issues.
